Who is Nana Laura?
I am Laura Jane Packham Ricks, a 61-year old divorced mother of six (Nathan, Eli, Jesse, Aaron, Hannah, and Isaac) and grandmother of six (Dallin, Mia, Avey, Kaitlyn, Carver, and Hakan). I am a special ed teachers' aide in elementary school and a library volunteer. I enjoy teaching, all types of sewing and needlework, gardening, cooking, writing, reading, and playing the piano.

What kind of material do you use to make these hacky sacks? I know it must be very durable... also, what do you put inside? Your colors are so vivid!
Hi, Jamie! I use pearle cotton size 5. It comes in every color imaginable and has a nice shine to it. I use tiny plastic filler beads inside.
