Butterfly Quilt

Another of my summer clean-out-my-closet projects. These quilt blocks I'd made years ago needed to be machine-appliqued. I chose fabric from my stash for the setting then hand-quilted the final product. It measures 46"x56" and will probably be donated to the Horse Therapy spring auction.

Who is Nana Laura?
I am Laura Jane Packham Ricks, a 61-year old divorced mother of six (Nathan, Eli, Jesse, Aaron, Hannah, and Isaac) and grandmother of six (Dallin, Mia, Avey, Kaitlyn, Carver, and Hakan). I am a special ed teachers' aide in elementary school and a library volunteer. I enjoy teaching, all types of sewing and needlework, gardening, cooking, writing, reading, and playing the piano.
