This quilt is another of my summer need-to-finally-finish projects. I made the quilt top several years ago, using the blue and white scraps left from Eli and Kira's wedding quilt. The design is called "Hearts & Gizzards" or "Dutch Windmills" and measures 42"x55". The windmills/hearts are hand-appliqued and the quilt is hand-quilted.

Who is Nana Laura?
I am Laura Jane Packham Ricks, a 61-year old divorced mother of six (Nathan, Eli, Jesse, Aaron, Hannah, and Isaac) and grandmother of six (Dallin, Mia, Avey, Kaitlyn, Carver, and Hakan). I am a special ed teachers' aide in elementary school and a library volunteer. I enjoy teaching, all types of sewing and needlework, gardening, cooking, writing, reading, and playing the piano.
