good advice

At school I frequently remind the students to pay attention and watch where they are going; they like to walk backwards or fling their coat over their head. I should have listened to my own advice this week, for I ran into the flag pole, right in front of 4 kindergarten classes. I was walking with them in from recess and was turned to adjust a little boy’s glasses for him. Smack! Fortunately having my head turned I hit the side of my head and wasn’t knocked out or knocked down. The bruise will remind me to “pay attention and watch where I am going.”

Also this week, January 18th, granddaughter Kaitlyn was born!
